SHOUTING STREET AUDIO CASSETTES Posted: September 13th, 2009 Hey readers! It's about time I let you know the reasons that things have been going really slow here lately. First of all, I started working a new job a few weeks back which has kept me both busy and tired. I work at a school and 8 hours a day hanging out with little kids makes you pretty exhausted. However I'm getting into it and I'm getting more and more excited to get MutinyZine going again. Another reason that updates have been few is that I've been working a lot with BOP Design. I got a ton of projects to finish up, but it's great work and I'm loving it. However, the main reason I haven't had time to work on the zine is that I've sectretly been starting up my own label :) I didn't wanna go around talking about it until I finally got it all together. The label is called Shouting Street Audio Cassettes and is a tape label! I'm putting out my first tape in october/november and it's a split with Virgins (feat. Sam of New Mexican DIsaster Squad and No Friends) and Over Stars & Gutters. I can't tell you how excited I am about this release, it's gonna sound so awesome! Most of the work is done and it looks like I'll be getting some more time for MutinyZine again. Check out the label below and stay tuned for some updates this week! |

I'M OFFICIALLY A TEACHERPosted: May 27th, 2009 As some of you might know I've been going to the university for the last 3 and a half years in order to become a qualified teacher. So, starting tomorrow I will dive into the huge pile of records I've been meaning to review for the last couple of months. Time to dust of the old record player and get back in business. As for tonight, I'm just gonna kick back, listen to Guy Clark and treat myself with a 12 year old single malt. Cheers! |
