What the hell is wrong with Epitaph? Everything they release nowadays sucks. Youthanize is a record that goes in each and every direction at once and I can't understand a thing. I do like the vocals at certain points but over all this record is way too messed up. It's stresses me out in a way I never thought was possible. Have a listen on the band's MySpace if you want details on the sound 'cause I don't feel like wasting my time on explain it. Well, I probably couldn't even if I wanted to.
I've asked it before but I'm gonna ask again 'cause I'm quite impressed with this phenomenon. How can a label that have released soooo many good records in the past turn it all around in an instant to start releasing nothing but complete crap? The amount of shit that comes out on Epitaph these days really amazes me.
