JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE | "THE GOOD LIFE"

Finally! Justin Townes Earle's debut album is out! Known to most as the son of legendary singer/songwriter Steve Earle, Justin comes from good stock to say the least.
On "The Good Life" Justin truly shows what he's capable of. Sure, there are some parts of Earle's music which can be comparable to his fathers work but don't be to quick to see him as just "Steve's son". This is, in fact, one of the best singer/songwriter records I have heard in a very long while. Justin's amazing voice blended with the warm, sometimes more up-tempo, melodies makes this one hell of a debut record.
On "The Good Life" Earle picks the finest little pieces of blues, rock'n'roll and classic country and put's his own brand on it. The result is an extremely even and, most of all, beautiful record. At the young age of 25 Earle has already made an album that, in my opinion, makes him comparable to the likes of Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark. Buy "The Good Life" and you'll experience one of the finest artists of modern alternative country/folk. 'Cause that's exactly what Earle is.
